ELIZABETH HART, fourth daughter of Hawkins Hart of Wallingford, and his first wife, Sarah (Roys), born ahout 1716, in that part of Wallingford now called Meriden; married there by Rev. Theophilus Hall, November 13th, 1738 to William Jerome, son of Timothy Jerome, and his wife Abigail, born August 28th, 1717 in Wallingford. They removed to Bristol, and were the ancestors of those of the name of Jerome in that town. He died there, June 1794, aged 77 years, and was buried in the north yard.

MARY HART, Farmington, fifth daughter of Hawkins Hart, of Wallingford, and his first wife Sarah (Roys), born June 21st, 1719 in Wallingford; married July 1st, 1741, Ebenezer Hawley, of Scot's Swamp, in Farmington, son of Joseph, born December 10th, 1713, at Farmington. His wife died when second he married Mrs. Kesiah Root, widow of Joseph and daughter of Deacon James Smith, of Southington, Octoher 10th, 1757. He died March 3d, 1769, in his 56th year. Children of the first wife-Sarah, Asa, Benjamin, Ebenezer, Mary, twin with Ebenezer, Esther. Child of the second wife - James, born October 8th, 1758.

BENJAMIN HART, Wallingford, fourth, son of Hawkins Hart, of the same town, and his first wife, Sarah. (Roys), born January 28th, 1722, at Wallingford; married, 1744, Phebe Rich. He died in 1745, aged 23 years, when second she married July 17th, 1747, John Grave, 3d,
