PECK.
1738.                              Bristol, Conn.

ESTHER HART, Bristol, Conn., fourth daughter of Thomas Hart, of Wallingford, Farmington, and Bristol, Conn., and his first wife, Hannah (Coe), born November 16th, 1751, in that part of Farmington now called Bristol, where she married Zebulon, son of Zebulon Peck, of Bristol, and his wife, Mary (Edwards), born April 15th, 1743, in Menden. He was a brother of Captain David Peck, of Southington. She died at Bristol in 1777, aged 26, when he second married June 11th, 1778, Widow Mary Watson, and third he married Widow Mindwell Chubb. He was a very prominent man in Bristol, having been a justice of the peace many years, was a member of the legislature fourteen sessions, was a delagate to the convention to act upon the adoption of the United States Constitution, and voted yea; and was a deacon of the Congregational Church. He removed to Clinton, N. Y., 1801, and died at Marshall, N. Y., January 23d, 1820, aged 70 years. His children by his first wife were—Esther, Roxana, Isaac, Beulah, Silas, born March 30th, 1776, married Betsey Chubb, died October 31st, 1839.

AMASA HART, Paris, N. Y., third son of Thomas Hart, of Wallingford, Farmington, and Bristol, Conn., and his wife, Hannah (Coe), born June 19th, 1754, at Bristol; married , Phebe Roberts. They removed from Bristol, Conn., to Paris, N. Y., about 1794, and from thence to Clinton, Oneida County, N. Y.
