Caroline, N. Y., February 19th, 1829, Eveline M. Tobey, daughter of Nathaniel, and his wife, Eunice (Pierce), born October 24th, 1806, at Middleborough. Plymouth County, Mass. He is a member of the Congregational Church. His avocation is farming, and he was residing at Caroline, Tompkins County, N. Y., in 1873. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE EIGHTH GENERATION.

Y., and his wife, Sophronia (Gridley), born December 14th, 1807, at Paris; married January 17th, 1832, Sarah S. Potter, daughter of James, of East Haven, Conn., and his wife, Lydia (Smith), born May 3d, 1813. They were residing at Janesville, Wis., in 1872. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE EIGHTH GENERATION.

ESTHER MARIA HART, Paris, N. Y., eldest daughter of Josiah Hart, of the same town, and subsequently of Cortlandville, N. Y., and his wife, Sophronia (Gridley), born November 27th, 1814. She married, December 24th, 1839, Nathaniel M. Tobey, of Caroline, Tompkins County, N. Y., born April 25th, 1813. He is a farmer and lumber dealer, and a captain of cavalry.
