Woodward, of Lyons, Iowa. His avocation is farming, and he resided in Dryden, Iowa, but in 1874 he left Iowa, and removed to Riverside, San Bernardino County, Cal. He was a soldier in Company I, Sixth Regiment Iowa Cavalry.

HENRY HART, Greenville, Montcalm County, Mich., third son of Samuel Hart, of Janesville, Wis., and his wife, Sarah S. (Potter), born April 3d, 1837, at Harford, Cortland County, N. Y.; married September 30th, 1863, Rachel Schenck, of La Prairie, Wis. He was engaged in the lumber business in Greenville, Mich., in 1872.

MARY ELIZABETH HART, eldest daughter of Samuel Hart, of Janesville, Wis., and his wife, Sarah S. (Potter), born February 10th, 1839, at Harford, Cortland County, N. Y.; married December 7th, 1865, Garry Nettleton, of Janesville, Rock County, Wis., formerly of Milford, Conn. She died May 24th, 1871, aged 32 years. They had no children in 1874.

ESTHER CORNELIA HART, Janesville, Wis., second daughter of Samuel Hart, of the same place, and his wife, Sarah S. (Potter), born June 17th, 1841, in Harford, Cortland County, N. Y.; married November 6th, 1862, Cyrus Miner, a merchant of Janesville, Rock County, Wis., where they resided in 1872. They had Mary Hart, died August 7th, 1864, Florence Hart, J. Potter, and Frederick, born February 27th, 1871.

SAMUEL WILLARD HART, Beloit, Wis., fourth son of Samuel Hart, of Janesville, Wis., and his wife, Sarah S. (Potter), born February 9th,
