Eveline M., daughter of Nathaniel Tobey, and his wife, Eunice (Pierce), born November 17th, 1829, at Harford, Cortland County, N. Y.; married March 10th, 1852, Marion E., daughter of Chauncey Culver Cook, and his wife, Esther Elmina (Hills), born November 15th, 1827, in Augusta, Oneida County, N. Y. He graduated at Hamilton College, July, 1849, and at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Penn. He was a physician in 1872, and was residing at Elmira, Chemung County, N. Y. He and his family are all members of the Congregational Church there, Rev. Thomas K. Beecher, pastor.

EVELYN MARIA HART, Elmira, N. Y., only daughter of Alonzo Orville Hart, of Caroline, Tompkins County, N. Y., and his wife, Eveline M. Tobey, born December 7th, 1835, in Harford, Cortland County, N. Y. She was educated for a music teacher, but married June 17th, 1857, Christopher Preswick, a dealer in books and stationery in Elmira, N. Y., who was born August 18th. 1820, in Ithaca, N. Y. They are members of the Congregational Church, Rev. Thomas K. Beecher, pastor. They had no children, February, 1874.

JAMES POTTER HART, Chicago, Ill., eldest son of Samuel Hart, of Janesville, Rock County, Wis., and his wife, Sarah S., daughter of James Potter, of East Haven, Conn., born February 24th, 1833, in Harford, Cortland County, N. Y.; married in 1855, Nancy J. Blodget, of Dryden, Tompkins County, N. Y. He was a lumber merchant in Chicago, Ill. They had no children in 1874.
