EDWARD HART, Durham, Conn., a twin brother of Edmund, second son of Samuel Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Patience (Hubbard), born January 14th, 1808, at Durham; married December 25th, 1834, Emma, daughter of Caleb Merriman, of Wallingford, born October 20th, 1808. He removed to Pennfield, Ohio, October 31st, 1837. His avocation is farming. His wife died August 1st, 1868, when second he married February 8th, 1871, Mrs. Jemima Head, of Saratoga, N. Y., daughter of Chapman, of Ohio. He and his wives were members of the Baptist Church. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE SEVENTH GENERATION.
2166. George F., born May 4th, 1836; married February 18th, 1857, Harriet S. Hull. EDMUND HART, Durham, Conn., a twin brother of Edward, third son of Samuel Hart, of Durham, and his wife, Patience (Hubbard), born January 14th, 1808, at Durham; married December 28th, 1833, Mary Hurlburt, of Wethersfield, daughter of Elizur, and his wife, Mary (Deming), born July 31st, 1810, at Wethersfield. He settled there, and was a shoe-maker by trade, but is occupied in farming. He was admitted to the Congregational Church in Durham, November 4th, 1827, but is now a member of the Methodist Church. They live on the bank of the Connecticut River. His four sons were all living at home unmarried in 1871. |
