New Britain, Conn., Parishville, N. Y.
CYPRIAN HART,
of New Britain, son of Noadiah Hart, of Kensington,
and Lucy Hurlburt, his wife, was born May 23d, 1772, at Kensington.
He married Olive, daughter of James Wheadon and his wife Dinah, of North
Branford, Conn., where she was born June 20th, 1765. He was by occupation
a miller; went to New Britain to run Dea. Elijah Hart's mill, and lived
by the mill, where his children were born. He lived also, subsequently,
where now (1873) Silas Wright does, on the "Mountain Lake" road.
She was a member of Dr. Smalley's church in New Britian, made so Dec. 6th,
1812. They removed to Parishville, St. Lawrence Co., N. Y., where both
died, he July 5th, 1843, aged 71 years, she June 17th, 1846, aged 81 years. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE SEVENTH GENERATION. 253. Truman, born June 11th,
1793, married, Jidy 4th, 1815, Laura Lewis Steele. ROGER HART,
New Britain, eldest son of John Hart, of the same
place, and his wife Anna (Deming), was born 1765, at New Britain. He
married, , Sibil Robinson,
daughter of John and his wife Mary (Strickland), born , 1764, at Middletown.
She died Jan. 13th, 1817, aged 53 years, when he, second, married Lavinia,
widow of Joseph Tryon, of Southington; she died Nov. 22d, 1822, aged 44
years, when he, third, married, Oct. 24th, 1824, Phebe, widow of Sam'l
Gladden, and daughter of Nathaniel Pennfield and his wife Lydia |
