JESSE HART, Berlin, third son of Captain Samuel Hart, of Kensington, and his first wife, Rebecca, daughter of Charles Norton, born January 3d, 1768, at Kensington; married November 28th, 1792, Lucy Beckley, daughter of Theodore, and his wife, Lucy Risley, born September 19th, 1772. She died March 30th, 1814, aged 41 years, when he second married March 14th, 1822, Mindwell Porter, daughter of Samuel and Mindwell Griswold, of Windsor. His wife was born July 7th, 1784, and united with the church June 5th, 1812. Mr. Hart was a cabinet-maker by trade, and was for several years a hotel keeper in what is now known as Whaples Hotel, on Berlin Street. He became insane, and died March 15th, 1827, in his 60th year.

MARY HART, eldest daughter of Captain Samuel Hart, of Kensington, and his second wife, Lydia, daughter of Captain John Hinsdale, born September 23d, 1771, at Kensington; married John Lee, of Berlin, and located in Blue Hills District, in Kensington. She became partially insane. Their issue were-Lucy, who married Albert Norton; Cyprian, of Marysville, Ohio; John; and Mary, who married Rodney Picket and William Lee, a merchant of Troy.
