ELIZABETH HART, fourth daughter of Jesse Hart, of Berlin, Conn., and his first wife Lucy (Beckley), born Dec. 17th, 1806, at Berlin, she married, Aug. 17th, 1828, Frederick Weston, of Sandy Hill, Washington County, N.Y. They have had four children.

EMMA HART, Worthington Society, in Berlin, Conn., fifth daughter of Jesse Hart, of the same locality, and his first wife, Lucy (Beckley), born Sept. 12th, 1809, at Berlin; she was educated at Troy Seminary, and became an eminent teacher there; married, Sept. 19th, 1826, Howard H. White, of Danbury; her son Howard is the sole survivor of that branch of the family. Howard H. White, above, was a grandson of Rebecca, who was half sister of Mrs. Emma Willard the great educator.

JANE PORTER HART, Worthington Society, in Berlin, Conn., youngest daughter of Jesse Hart, of the same place, and his second wife, Mindwell (Porter), born Dec. 1st, 1824, at Berlin; was a teacher of music and drawing at Troy Seminary, —married Feb. 7th, 1856, Wm. Dodd, of Hartford, Conn., and Cincinnati, Ohio.

LAURA HART, Kensington, Conn., eldest daughter, of Gideon Hart, of the same parish, and his wife, Cynthia (Langdon), of Jonathan, born                 1787; baptized Sept. 16th, 1787; married,                    , Erastus Washburn, of Farmington; born in Middletown. He died about 1817, at Farmington, leaving two sons and two daughters, when she became a matron of a Ladies' School at Middlebury, Vt., when the school failed, she married Wm. Carr, of that place, but health failing she returned to Farmington.
