1778½.                        Kensington, Conn.

ABIGAIL HART, Kensington, second daughter of Hezekiah Hart, of the same place, and his wife, Abigail (Adkins), born December 14th, 1761, at Ken- sington; baptized there April 25th, 1762, by Rev. Samuel Clark. She was never married. She died January 7th, 1785, aged 23 years, was buried in the cemetery near Merrit Cowles, and a tombstone marks the place.

JABISH HART, Kensington, Conn., third son of Hezekiah Hart, of the same place, and his wife, Abigail (Adkins), born October 3d, 1765, at Kensing- ton, where he died unmarried, June 18th, 1800, aged 34, and the inventory of his estate, amounting to £41 14s. 8d., was exhibited at probate court, Farmington, July 15th, 1800, Joseph Peck and Jabez Cowles, appraisers. He was a twin with his sister, Hannah.

KELSEY.
1779.                               Berlin, Conn.

HANNAH HART, Kensington, third daughter of Hezekiah Hart, of Kensington, and his wife, Abigail (Adkins), born October 3d, 1765, a twin with Jabish, her brother; married August 12th, 1792, Stephen Kelsey, son of Enoch, and his wife, Mary (Bidwell), of Glastonbury, born May 28th, 1764. He died February 21st, 1833, aged 69 years. They had four daughters, the first being Abigail, who married Jerry Dickinson, and died March 22d, 1830, aged 32 years.

COLE.
1780.                        Kensington, Conn.

RUTH HART, Kensington, fourth daughter of Hezekiah Hart, of the same place, and his wife, Abigail (Adkins), born at Kensington in 1767; baptized there January 17th, 1768; married Job Cole, of Kensington. From tomb- stones in the burial ground near the house of Merrit Cowles, in Kensington, it appears that Job Cole died October 19th, 1825, aged 64. years; his widow died November 13th, 1838, aged 71 years; and Lucy H., their daughter, died August 14th, 1815, aged 22 years.
