SIMEON HART, Jr., Burlington, fourth son of Simeon Hart, Sr., and his wife, Sarah (Sloper), born September 8th, 1763, at Southington, and went to Burlington with his parents in 1774; married October 27th, 1783, Mary Warner, of Middletown. She died February 15th, 1821, when second he married January 30th, 1822, Mrs. Pamelia Wetmore (Pettebone), who was born September 5th, 1782. He improved his early advantages for an education, was an intelligent member of the Congregational Church, was a magistrate thirty or more years, until excused at his own request, and was town clerk eleven years in succession. Having served God and his generation faithfully, he fell asleep in Jesus, December 19th, 1835, aged 72 years. She died January 15th, 1864, aged 82 years.

989. Lucas Wetmore, born December 26th, 1822, at Burlington. He was lost at sea.
990. Austin, born April 17th, 1824; married October 9th, 1867, Susan A. Deming, of Farmington.

MARCUS HART, Burlington, fifth son of Simeon Hart, Sr., of Southington, and his wife, Sarah (Sloper), born December 20th, 1767, at Southington, and went with his parents to Burlington, Conn., in 1774; married January 17th, 1786, Rhoda Wiard, daughter of Seth, of Burlington, and his wife, Dorcas, born March 27th, 1771. She died February 12th, 1804, aged 33 years. He removed to Lisle, Broome County, N. Y., where he died, July 3d, 1832, aged 65.
