LEWIS HART, Pennfield, Ohio, second son of Lewis Hart, of Colebrook, Conn., and his wife, Persis (Swift), born April 11th, 1824, in Winchester, Conn.; married in Pennfield, Lorain County, Ohio, September 9th, 1846, Melinda, daughter of Orris Starr, and his wife, Abby (Hickox). He was a farmer by occupation, and died April 6th, 1863, aged 39 years. His widow second married in Pennfield, Ohio, May 12th, 1864, James M. Pierce.

He is an insurance agent, and they were residing in Colebrook, Conn., in 1874.
