DANIEL HALL HART, Meriden, Conn., eldest son of Samuel Ives Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Abigail D. (Hall), born June 19th, 1815, at Meriden; married May 14th, 1840, Harriet G. Miller, of Middletown; Conn. He is a farmer, and lives east of the city of Meriden, on East Main Street.

DOCTOR DAVID SHERMAN HART, Stonington, Conn., eldest son of Rev. Ira Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Maria, daughter of John Sherman, and granddaughter of Hon. Roger Sherman, of New Haven, who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, born September 26th, 1799, at Middlebury, Conn. He graduated at Yale College in 1823, as a medical student. He is a druggist and book-seller in Stonington, and occasionally instructs young men fitting for teachers or for college. He was single in 1873.
CHARLES THEODORE HART, second son of Rev. Ira Hart, of Middlebury and Stonington, and his wife, Maria, daughter of John Sherman, and granddaughter of Hon. Roger Sherman, of New Haven, born June 14th, 1801. He died of quick consumption proceeding from hemorrhage, October 13th, 1819, aged 18 years. He was a member of the Sophomore Class in Yale College. He gave abundant evidence of being sanctified in early childhood, and not being able to ascertain the time of his conversion, his fears prevailed over his hopes; but in the last conflict he was enabled, with humble confidence, to commit his soul into the hands of Jesus.
