1907.      Farmington, New Britain, Conn.

MARY HART, New Britain and Farmington, eldest daughter of Jehudah Hart, of New Britain, and his first wife, Mary (Munson), born August 5th, 1759, at New Britain; admitted to the Congregational Church there, March 30th, 1800; married December 24th, 1806, Eliphalet Wadsworth, of Farmington, and was his second wife. He died January 21st, 1823, aged 75 years, when second she married May 20th, 1829, Aaron Roberts, of New Britain, and was his second wife. He died at New Britain, September 27th, 1831, aged 73. She was a discreet, patient, and good woman. She returned again to Farmington, where she died, November 11th, 1847, aged 78 years. Her grave is in the old cemetery at Farmington, on the hill.

ASAHEL HART, New Britain, Conn, eldest son of Jehudah Hart, of the same place, and his first wife, Mary (Munson), born May 24th, 1771, at New Britain; married, January, 1790, Hannah Langdon, daughter of Captain John, and his wife, Mercy (Eno), who were near neighbors, born November 11th, 1771. She died November 12th, 1792, when second he married July 30th, 1793, Sarah, daughter of Judah Hart, Jr., and his wife, Sarah (North), born November 7th, 1770, at New Britain. She died at the house of Horace Butler, in New Britain, December 19th, 1841, aged 71 years. He died at Charleston, S. C., July 22d, 1804, aged 35. He was of slender make, and studied with his uncle, Dr. Josiah Hart, of Wethersfield, and was thus fitted for a school teacher. After some years experience here, and he had built the Francis Hart house, near the corner of Lake and Hart Streets, he went south teaching. The inventory of his estate was taken by Ephraim Doolittle and Robert Cornwall, December 4th, 1804; amount, £66 1 1s. 11d.; and the court granted the widow, for support, £22 1s. 6d., and £6 16s. for the support of the children.

          Amon, born November 18th, 1790; died of dysentery, August 17th, 1798, aged 7 years.

          Amzi, born June 13th, 1795; died August 25th, 1798, of dysentery, aged 3 years.
          Sarah, born March 20th, 1797; died March 20th, 1797, aged 1 hour.
