EBENEZER HART, Genesee, N. Y., tenth and youngest son of Timothy Hart, of Wallingford, and his wife, Phebe (Fenn), born         , at Wallingford; married three times. He located in Vermont, but removed to Genesee, N. Y., and in 1852 was living at Batavia, N. Y. All the means used have failed to bring further information of this family.

1810.                       Wallingford, Conn.

REBECCA HART, Wallingford, eldest daughter of Hawkins Hart, of Wallingford, and his wife, Abigail (Hall), born November 23d, 1761, at Wallingford; married January 1st, 1784, Joel, son of Colonel Isaac Cook, and his wife, Martha, daughter of Benjamin Cook, of Wallingford, born October 12th, 1760, at Wallingford. He became captain, entered the army of the revolution with his father in 1776, and served through the war. In 1812 he was a distinguished officer under General Harrison, in many hard battles with the Indians. He was at Flatbush, N. Y. She died February 22d, 1838, aged 77 years. He died at Deer Park, L. I., December 18th, 1851, aged 92 years. They had children, viz: Lucy, Minerva, Leander, Patty, Rebecca, Phebe, Jennette, and Joel Wilcox.
