ADELBERT MIRON HART, Farmington, Trumbull County, Ohio, sixth son of Joseph Chauncey Hart, of Avon, Conn., and Farmington, Ohio, and his wife, Rosanna (Goff), born September 27th, 1843, at Farmington Ohio. He entered the Union Army in the spring of 1862, was taken prisoner at the battle of Chickamauga, Tenn., and taken to Danville Prison, Va., and from thence to Libby and Andersonville— eighteen months in all. He was exchanged, and died on his passage from Charleston, S. C., to Annapolis, Md., and was buried at sea, December 11th, 1864.

SARAH JANE HART, Farmington, Ohio, second daughter of Joseph Chauncey Hart, of Avon, Conn., and Farmington, Ohio, and his wife, Rosanna (Goff), born July 3d, 1830, at Farmington, Ohio; married November 19th, 1851, Lewis Taft, a farmer, and they resided at Farmington, Ohio, in 1873.

MELANCTHON COLLINS HART, Esq., Warren, Ohio, seventh son of Joseph Chauncey Hart, of Northington, (now Avon,) Conn., and Farmington, Ohio, and his wife, Rosanna (Goff), of West Springfield, Mass., born at Farmington, Ohio, December 15th, 1846; married November 20th, 1872, Mary Camp. He is a lawyer, was county clerk in 1873, and resides at Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio.
