AVA HART, Chautauqua, N. Y., fifth son of Linas Hart, of Northington, Conn., and his wife, Mary Ann (Wilcox), born October 24th, 1800, at Avon; married November 6th, 1827, Julia Crampton, daughter of Stephen, and his wife, Amy, of Farmington, born January 14th, 1804, at Farmington, Conn. He is a farmer, and resided at Chautauqua in 1871, where all his children were born. They were married at Farmiugton, Conn., before Rev. Dr. Noah Porter, then pastor of the Congregational Church there.

S0PHR0NIA HART, New Britain, eldest daughter of Obed Hart, of Avon, Conn., and his wife, Elizabeth (Edson), born April 2 1st, 1794, at Avon; married January 9th, 1810, at Avon, Joseph Hart, son of Asahel, and his wife, Anna (Kilbourn), born September 18th, 1787, at New Britain, and baptized there, October 28th, 1787. She died July 14th, 1814, aged 20 years, leaving two children, for whom see Joseph Hart.

REV. EDSON HART, Ohio and Kentucky, eldest son of Obed Hart, of Avon, and his first wife, Elizabeth (Edson), born April 12th, 1796, at Northington, now Avon, Conn.; married October 15th, 1821, Helen Priest1y, of New Brunswick, N. J., born April 11th, 1796. He was educated at Yale College, and became a very laborious minister of the gospel. His wife died at New Albany, Ind., April 4th, 1851, aged 55 years, when second he married Miss Martha A. Day, of Morristown, N. J. He died at his home near Louisville, Ky., September 19th,
