l766, at Southington. She was never married. In the 1ast years of her life she lived much of the time in the family of her brother, Colonel Samuel Hart, where she died, October 17th, 1843, aged 77 years, and was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, where she has a head-stone.

ROSWELL HART, Southington, second son of Captain Reuben Hart,. of the same town, and his wife, Rhoda (Peck), born August 22d, 1768, at Southington; married         , Sylvia, daughter of Jonathan Barnes, and his wife, Elizabeth (Woodruff), born August 7th, 1771, at Southington. He inherited the old homestead of his father in Flanders District, where he died of consumption, May 17th, 1828, aged 60. His widow died March 21st, 1857, aged 86 years.

TIMOTHY HART, Southington, third son of Captain Reuben Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Rhoda (Peck), born July 15th, 1770, at Southington; married April 24th, 1794, Eunice Woodruff, daughter of John Woodruff, and his wife, Catharine (Bushnell), born May 11th, 1771; baptized September 10th, 1780, at Southington, by Rev. William Robinson. She died of pleurisy, January 9th, 1803, in her 32d year, when second he married August 27th, 1804, Sally Reed, of Simsbury, Conn., born August 17th, 1782. He was a farmer and an old school teacher, was selectman twenty years, and a representative to the legislature one year. He lived in Flanders District, a locality of Southington, about two and a half miles north-east of the village. He died there March 19th, 1855, aged 84 years, 8 months, 4 days. Sarah, his widow, died January 23d, 1859, in her 77th year. Their daughter, Mrs. Eunice Holt, occupies the same premises with her son, John Hart Holt, in 1874.
