ELIZABETH HART, Avon, second daughter of Samuel Hart, of the same place, and his wife, Elizabeth (Thompson), born September 25th, 1732, in Farm- ington; married August 1st, 1751, Joseph Woodford, of Avon, son of Joseph Woodford, Jr., and his wife, Sarah North, born March 12th, 1731-2, at Farmington. She died in 1759, aged 27 years. They had children, viz: Elisha, born November 1st, l752, died November 8th, 1752; Dinah, born March 1st, 1754.

SARAH HART, Avon, third daughter of Samuel Hart, of Northington, and his wife, Elizabeth (Thompson), born December 26th, 1734, at Farmington; married October 30th, 1754, Benjamin Lewis. Their children were—Samuel Hart, Dorcas, Lucy, Benjamin, and Abisha, born May 15th, 1766. See Farmington Record.

MERCY HART, fourth daughter of Samuel Hart, of Avon, Conn., formerly Northington, and his wife, Elizabeth (Thompson), born January 10th, 1736-7, at Northington, then a parish of Farmington; married May 10th, 1758, Jedediah Case, of Simsbury, son of Joseph, and his wife, Hannah (Humphrey), born March 30th, 1733. He died at Simsbury, January 11th, 1818, aged 84 years, 9 months, 11 days. They had—1, Jedediah, born 1759; 2, Elihu, born 1761; 3, Humphrey, born 1762; 4, Phebe T., born 1765; 5, Hezekiah, born 1769; 6, Elizabeth, born 1771; Horatio G., born September 2 1st, 1777. The mother died, February, 1826, aged 89 years.

MARTHA HART, fifth daughter of Samuel Hart, of North- ington, now Avon, and his wife, Elizabeth (Thompson), born July 31st, 1739, at Northington; married February 4th, 1759 Daniel Owen, who died November 7th, 1759, when she second married, February, 1775, Uriah, son of Nathan Whitney, and his wife, Sarah, of Ridgefield, Conn., Nov- ember 12th, 1737. Martha was his second wife, and he is said to have had Sarah Platt for his first wife. Uriah and Martha had three
