SILAS WILLIAMS HART, New Britain, second son of Salmon Hart, of New Britain, and his second wife, who was Rosetta North, widow of Elisha Williams, and daughter of Seth North, of Berlin, born September 12th, 1818, at New Britain, Conn.; married November 24th, 1846, Abigail Merwin, of New Haven, where they reside. He is a carriage trimmer. They have no children except one by adoption.

CAPTAIN FREDERICK WOODFORD HART, New Britain, third son of Salmon Hart, of New Britain, and his second wife, Rosetta North (Williams), born November 19th, 1822, at New Britain. He learned the jeweler's trade of Wilcox, of New Haven. He married June 2d, 1857, Jennie, daughter of William Bassett, of New Britain, and his first wife, Polly (Judd), born December 10th, 1832. He was captain of Company G, First Regiment Connecticut Yolunteers, in the late war. He is an insurance agent in 1874, and is living on West Main Street, New Britain.

MARY RILEY HART, eldest child of Judah Hart, of New Britain and Norwich Conn., and Brownhelm, Lorain County, Ohio, and his wife, Abigail (Belden), born June 29th, 1801, at Middletown, Conn. She went with her parents to Brownhelm, Ohio. She married, August 13th, 1846, at Elyria, Ohio, Nathan Porter Johnson, of Hartford, Washington County, N.Y., born January 30th, 1801. They are living, in 1874, at Lagrange, Lorain County, Ohio, where he has been postmaster for the last thirteen years. He was representative in the Ohio legislature four sessions. They have no children.

JUDAH BELDEN HART, Brownhelm, Lorain County, Ohio, eldest son of Judah, and Abigail (Belden), his wife, born November 16th, 1802, at New Britain, Conn.; married May 3d, 1825, Sarah T.
