What I Do / How I Help
I provide business analysis, design, testing, and support of software, especially financial systems. I get deeply into my projects and typically become the go-to guy for project business and technical issues. My background - technical plus business - allows me to bridge sometimes disparate business and engineering groups. I'm constantly striving to bring the most useful functionality to the ultimate user. Companies hire me to generate designs that fulfill user and business needs and can be implemented by this group in this timeframe.
My recent work has been in portfolio accounting with Advent® Geneva®, helping clients convert to and use Geneva. I've done extensive work with reporting from Geneva.

Portfolio Accounting - Expert in many aspects of Geneva, especially reporting (RSL and SSRS), integration with legacy systems, and training.
Requirements and Specifications - I fill in the details, by gathering requirements and producing specifications, support plans, training materials, test plans, and the like. I've worked under both formal and informal processes.
Project Management - Day-to-day project management, including planning, staffing, vendor relationships, etc.
Quality Assurance - I write test plans, manage testers, and test directly.
Training/Support - Rep training, support materials, second- or third-line support. I can help bring the internal organization up to speed.
