New Britain, Conn. When she was about one year old she went to the west with her parents, and married about 1839, Lewis Potter, a lawyer from Vermont. He was a student of Dartmouth College until his health failed, when he went south teaching, where he found his wife, who was also a teacher.

WILLARD OTIS HART, Lombard, Ill., second son of Ozias Hart, Jr., of New Britain, Conn., but in 1874 of Chicago, Ill., and his second wife, Triphena (Elmer), born February 13th, 1838, in Henderson, Jefferson County, N. Y.; married in Chicago, May 21st, 1867, Martha Jane Lucas, born in Trumansburg, N. Y., February 2d, 1844. He is a house painter by occupation, and lives in Lombard, Ill.

2955. Edith Louise, born January 10th, 1874, in Lombard, Ill., [ married March 10, 1909, Louis E, Nuzman in Roseberry, Boise Co., Idaho, died May 20, 1920 in Roseberry, Valley Co., Idaho. ]

SARAH ANN HART, West Brooklyn Station, Lee County, Ill., only daughter of Ozias Hart, of New Britain, Conn., but now of Chicago, and his second wife, Triphena (Elmer), born March 5th, 1845; married January 1st, 1864, James W. Winbolt, born March 23d, 1835, in Port Rowin, Canada. His avocation is farming, and they were living at West Brooklyn Station, Lee County, Ill., in 1874. They have had— 1, Charles Walter, born November 10th, 1864; 2, George Edward, born November 18th, 1866, and died February 10th, 1867. [ She died February 7, 1946, just shy of her 101st birthday in Elgin, Kane Co., Illinois.]

DR. HENRY ABIJAH HART, JR., New Hartford, Conn., and Millerton, N. Y., only son of Dr. Henry Abijah Hart, Sr., of New Britain and North Haven, Conn., and his wife, Eliza (Shipman), daughter of Joseph, of New Britain, born November 30th, 1828, in New Britain. He graduated at the Medical College, New Haven, as a physician, and practiced for a time in Forestville and Watertown, Conn., but removed to New Hartford, Conn., and at his mother’s death came into possession of the homestead and farm left at the decease of Major Brown, subject to legacies. He married January 26th, 1868, Josephine Estella Essex, of New Hartford, Conn., daughter of William F., of Colchester, Conn.,
