WILLARD HART, Winsted, Conn., eldest son of Samuel Hart, of Southington, and his wife, Mariam (Bassett), born, January, 1798, at Winsted; married December 11th, 1822, Rhoda Benedict, daughter of Timothy, and his wife, Lydia (Crocker). She died May 12th, 1824, at Winsted, aged 24 years, when second he married May 29th, 1828, Maria, eldest daughter of Daniel Andrews, Jr., of Winchester, and his wife, Sarah (Platt), of Danbury, Conn., born November 15th, 1808. He died May 5th, 1840. His widow was living in 1873, on Meadow Street, in West Winsted, where she owns a nice and pleasant home.

2637. Lewis Daniel, born April 14th, 1837. He lives with his mother.
2638. Henrietta M., born January 8th, 1839; married February 3d, 1862,. Nelson Beers, of Roxbury.
2639. Willard, born April 11th, 1840; married May 6th, . He was killed at Cold Harbor.

SYLVESTER HART, Hartland, Conn., second son of Samuel Hart, of Southington, and his wife, Mariam (Bassett), of Winchester, born May 22d, 1800, at Hartland; married June 22d, 1822, Charlotte Walter, of Torrington, daughter of Andrew, and his wife, Abigail, born January 8th, 1805, at Winchester, Conn. He is a cooper by trade and occupation, and lives in Hartland. He removed with his father’s family, when about eight years old, from Hartland to Winchester, and moved back to Hartland in 1862.
