SEYMOUR.
1913.                       New Britain, Conn.

ABIGAIL HART, New Britain, Conn., youngest daughter and child of Jehudah Hart, of the same place, and his first wife, Mary (Munson), born October 28th, 1786, at New Britain. She was admitted to the Congregational Church there, June 6th, 1819. She married January 29th, 1807, Moses D. Seymour, son of Aaron, of West Hartford, and his wife, Anna (Phelps), of Litchfield, born June 3d, 1782. He was a clothier by trade, which he learned of the Talcotts, of West Hartford, He built his house at the south part of New Britain, and it was owned and occupied by William Wallace in 1873. He had his shop near the saw-mill of Ozias Hart. He left this place later in life, and built in the village under Dublin Hill, where he spent his last days. He was admitted to the Congregational Church, April 4th, 1819. He died July 7th, 1839, aged 57 years. She died in Hartford, March 16th, 1858, aged 71, but was buried in New Britain, and a neat stone tells where she lies in the cemetery. She was a discreet and worthy woman. They had-1, Orson Hart, born September 1st, 1807; 2, 3, twin sons, died March 17th, 1809; 4, Mary Ann,. died ; 5, Mary Ann, 2d, born October 4th, 1813; 6, Henry Phelps, born August 2d, 1818; 7, Oliver Dewitt, born December 31st, 1820, lives in Hartford, and has drawn more votes than any man there.

OLIVER HART, New Britain, eldest son of Jehudah Hart, of the same place, and his second wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Mazuzen) Judd, born December 13th, 1788, at New Britain. He was a farmer; and married January 3d, 1838, Deborah E. Hurlburt, who died, when he second married Lurana Osborn, and lived on the old homestead of his father until about 1832, when he removed to Hinkley, Madison County, Ohio, and afterwards lived at Copley, Summit County, where he died, September 6th, 1864, aged 76 years.
