Y.; married there January 1st, 1868, by Rev. A. S. Merrifield, to Timothy T. Root, of Cambridge, Crawford County, Penn., son of Sylvester, and his wife, Mercy (Thomas), born February 25th, 1831, at Cambridge Village, Venango Township, Crawford County, Penn., where they lived in 1871. They had issue, viz: Clarence C., born June 3d, 1869.

He is a wheelwright by trade, which he learned of his father, and he worked. and lived with him in 1871.
