[ When Rachel Jane, his first wife died, he married second, Ann, last name unknown, ca 1865-1870.]

[ Arthur Charles Hart was born October 8th, 1860 in Portage Co., Ohio. He married Laura Etta Skinner January 14th, 1879. They had five children, Pearl, Claude, Frank, Maude and Mabel. Charles walked off and deserted his family. He may have gone to Michigan. His wife Laura's sister Lucy saw him in Battlecreek, Mich. His death was sometime after 1912, probably in Michigan. Claude Hart and his brother in law John F. Schaefer were the founders of Cooper Tire in Findley, Ohio. John was married to Claude's sister Mabel. ]

CALVIN C. HART, second son of Gad Hart, of Hartford, Trumbull County, Ohio, and his first wife, Lucretia (Moses), born July 5th, 1830, in Hartford, Ohio; married June 2d, 1853, Sarah Elizabeth Thompson. He was first lieutenant in Company A, Forty-First Regiment Ohio Volunteers, in the late war, and was killed at the battle of Stone River, December 31st, 1862. She remains his widow, and lives at Hartford, Ohio.

LUCRETIA CELESTIA HART, eldest daughter of Gad Hart, of Hartford, Trumbull County, Ohio, and his second wife, Celestia (Norton), born November 25th, 1839; married November 12th, 1868, James Cedar, of Kinsman, Ohio. His avocation is farming. She died May 3d, 1869.
