ANNA LOIS HART, New Britain, Conn., only daughter of Carlos Hart, of Farmington, Conn., and his wife, Lois (Rice), of Barkhamsted, born May 14th, 1838, at Ravenna, Ohio; married September 19th, 1860, William Azro Spaulding, of Morristown, Vt. He is an inspector of the work at the Rule and Level Factory in the city of New Britain, where they reside in 1874, and are members of the South Congregational Church. They had issue, viz: 1, Carlos Alva, born June 13th, 1861; 2, Bertha Louise, born March 8th, 1867, died December 10th, 1871, at New Britain; 3, Clara Estella, born February 20th, 1870.

SUSAN FRANCIS HART, West Farmington, Ohio, eldest daughter of Luther Woodford Hart, Of Avon, Conn., and his wife, Almira (Gillet), born December 10th, 1818, at Avon; married April 15th, 1844, by Joseph Wolcott, Esq., Samuel Miller, son of Samuel, born December 8th, 1822, at Avon. He is a blacksmith by trade, which he learned of Amos Gillet, a brother of Mrs. Miller’s mother. In 1873 his post-office address was West Farmington, Trumbull County, Ohio. They have four children, viz: Dora A., Minnie E., Frank B., Anne May.

GEORGE HART, Delavan, Faribault County, Minn., eldest son of Luther Woodford Hart, of Avon, and his wife, Almira (Gillett), born May 9th, 1826, at 4 o’clock A. M., in Avon, Conn.; married there November 22d, 1854. His avocation is farming. She died June 25th, 1855. He second married June 17th, 1860, in Minnesota, Susan Caroline Wier, daughter of William, and his wife, Elizabeth (Latimer), born October 3d, 1830, in Robertson County, Tennessee, and was raised there. His children were all by his second wife, and were all born in Faribault County, Minn., where he has a farm of 200 acres. He went to Farmington, Trumbull County, Ohio, in 1837, but returned to Connecticut in 1847, and worked in Collinsvillo and Hartford until the spring of 1856, when he removed to Minnesota, His second wife is a member of the Baptfst Church.
