She died August 7th, 1857, at New Britain, aged 26 years, when second he married July 26th, 1864, Sarah Avery, daughter of Daniel, of Wethersfield, and his wife, Emeline, born September 15th, 1840, at Wethersfield. He is a jeweler by trade, which he learned of Churchill & Stanley, New Britain, where he worked in 1873, but in 1874 he is engaged in the grocery business on Park Street, and lives on Chestnut Street.

ANDREW WILLYS HART, New Britain, second son of Adna Thompson Hart, of Avon, and his wife, Lydia (Woodruff), born November 25th, 1834. He was a jeweler by trade, was a soldier in Company G, Sixth Regiment Connecticut Volunteers, and died in Beaufort Hospital, at South Carolina, of fever, June 20th, 1863, in the 29th year of his age.

LURA ANN HART, New Britain, Conn., fourth daughter of Adna Thompson Hart, of Avon and New Britain, and his wife, Lydia (Woodruff), born August 20th, 1836, at Avon; married October 8th 1856, Henry Bulkley Goodrich, of New Britain, son of Elisha Goodrich, and his wife, Sally (Bulkley), of Rocky Hill, born November 10th, 1824, at Glastonbury, Conn. He is a tailor by trade, and lived on Chestnut Street, in the city of New Britain, in 1873. He was a soldier in the late war, where he lost an arm, and for several years past has been a collector of town, city, and school taxes. They have had two sons and one daughter, viz: 1, Frederick M., born October 29th, 1857; 2, Willis Hart, born June 20th, 1859, died July 10th, 1869; 3, Mary E., born June 1st, 1867.
