born, January, 1842, at Southington, and married Marcus Covell, of St. Anthony, Hennepin County, Minn., where he is a mechanic. They have five sons.

PHEBE AMELIA HART, New Britain, seventh daughter of Edward Hart, the shoe-maker of Southington, and his second wife, Rhoda (Grannis), born August 18th, 1843, at Southington; admitted to the church there, May 7th, 1865; married October 27th, 1869, Francis Wright, son of William, and his wife, Lucy (Slater), all of New Britain, born September 5th, 1843. He is a farmer, and lives on West Main Street. They have one son, Francis William, born April 19th, 1871, and one daughter, born July 18th, 1874, named Carrie; died October 2d, 1874.

LAURA FLORA HART, Morcer, Ohio, eldest daughter of Almon Hart, of Southington, Conn., and Middletown, Vt., and his wife, Mary Gates (Stewart), born November 15th, 1829, at Mercor, Trumbull County, Ohio; married John B. Stanford, who was born at Evansburg, Crawford County, Penn. He died, aged about 40 years. She also died, but when it is not reported.

ASA BRAY HART, Rochester, Olinsted County, Minn., eldest son of Almon Hart, of Southington, Conn., and Middletown, Vt., and his wife, Mary Gates (Stewart), born March 23d, 1832, at Mercer, Trumbull County, Ohio; married at Geneva, Walworth County, Wis., Carda Owen. He resided at Rochester, Minn., in 1872, and his avocation was farming.

DAVID ALMON HART, Wabasha County, Minn., second son of Almon Hart, of Southington, Conn., and Middletown, Vt., and his wife, Mary Gates (Stewart), born August 22d, 1840, at Evansburg, Crawford County, Penn.; married July 3d, 1862, at Delavan, Wis., Mary Jane Potter, born January 17th, 1843, at Albany, N. Y. Mr. Hart is a blacksmith by trade, and was residing at Elgin, Minn., in 1872.
