Osgood Hill, on the same road. His wife died February 22d, 1803, aged 44, when he second married January 11th, 1804, Chloe Booth, daughter of Nathan, Sr. She died February 10th, 1807, aged 44, when third he married July 29th, 1807, Widow Prudence Gridley. Her former husband was drowned in the whirlpool below Farmington bridge. He had swam the river once safely, when a bet was made that he could not do it again, and he was drowned in the attempt. Mr. Hart was admitted to the church in New Britain, January 26th, 1783. He died in North Granby, Conn., at the house of his son, Joseph. His third wife died in Avon, October 2d, 1852, aged 87 years, and was buried in New Britain Cemetery. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE SEVENTH GENERATION.

JOSEPH HART, Jr., Northington, second son of Joseph Hart, Sr., of the same locality, and his wife, Ann (Barnes), of Southington, born July 29th, 1759, at Northington.
