HANNAH DAY HART, Avon, Conn., sixth daughter of Asahel Hart, Sr., of Now Britain, and his first wife, Anna (Kilborn), daughter of Josiah, and his wife, Anna (Neal), born March 20th, 1799; baptized May 19th, 1799; married January 13th, 1818, Ozem Woodruff, son of Eldad, of Avon. EZRA HART, Avon, youngest son of Asahel Hart, Sr., of New Britain, and his first wife, Anna (Kilborn), born at Now Britain; and baptized there, May 17th, 1801. Ho was unmarried. He was occasionally insane, and was found drowned in Farmington River, Avon, April 13th, 1864, aged 63 years. 1005. New Britain, Conn.
HULDAH HART, New Britain, eldest daughter of Bethel Hart, of the same town, and his first wife, Huldah (Steele), born October 18th, 1786, at New Britain; married March 4th, 1804, Silas, son of Nathaniel Pennfield, and his first wife, Eunice (Kelsey), born at New Britain, and baptized there, July 1st, 1792. He was a farmer, and built next west of his father, on Horse Plain, in New Britain. He died November 29th, 1812, aged 28, when second she married January 18th, 1814, Cyprian, son of Cotton Mather, and his wife, Rebecca (Steele), born May 30th, 1792. He was a stone mason, a heavy, robust man, with good intellectual powers, was fond of reading, and slow in his movements and conclusions. He lived in various localities. He was admitted to the Congregational Church, August 5th, 1821. She was admitted, January 6th, 1811. He died October 1st, 1845, aged 54. She |
