ARD HART, Burlington, Conn., fourth son of. Amos Hart, of Southington, and his second wife, Mary (Dunham), born May 17th, 1761, at Southington; married March 10th, 1788, Millicent Roberts, born January 6th, 1771. He early removed from Southington to the south-east part of Burlington. He became a deacon of that church, December 30th, 1814, the duties of which office he faithfully discharged until his death. His wife, Millicent, died at Burlington, February 15th, 1826, aged 55 years, when he second married, 1827, Lucy Goodsell, widow of Isaac Hotchkiss, and daughter of Samuel Goodsell, and his wife, Lucy (Harsington). He died March 5th, 1851, aged 90 years, being the oldest person in Burlington.

Y. They had Leveret, Jairus, William, and Lemuel.
