589. Lee Canfield, born November 15th, 1862; [ buried August 15th, 1944]. GEORGE SPENCER HART, No. 35 Pearl Street, New York, youngest son of Julius Hart, of Cornwall, Conn., and Rhoda (Rogers), his wife, born February 11th, 1837, at Cornwall; married February 23d, 1871, Anna Dudley, daughter of Charles H., of New York City, and Anna Eliza ( ), his wife, born April 12th, 1850. He has been very successful in business, having one of the most extensive cheese houses on the continent, and doing the business of a millionaire. "He is smart, and as good as he is smart." He is of the firm of George S. Hart & Howell in 1874. THEIR CHILD, BEING THE NINTH GENERATION.
592. Anna Dudley, born December 25th, 1871. RODNEY GEORGE HART, Lapier, Mich., third son of Hon. Alvin Nelson Hart, of the same place, and subsequently of Lansing, Mich., and his wife, Charlotte Fox (Ball), born May 28th, 1834, at Lapier; married December 5th, 1854, Mary Castella, daughter of Dr. John Hazen, of Franklin, N. Y., and his wife, Mary (Chamberlain), born September 19th, 1832. Mr. Hart is a banker, of the firm of R. G. ISABELLA ELIZA HART, eldest daughter of Hon. Alvin Nelson Hart, of Lapier and Lansing, Mich., and his wife, Charlotte Fox (Ball), born July 24th, 1836, at Lapier; married October 1st, 1858, Robert Wilson Hamilton, a member of the bar at Red Wing, Min. He resides at Lapier, Mich. They have one son in 1874, viz: Alvin Nelson Hamilton, born October 14th, 1859, at Lapier. |
