Led by volunteer Al Dudley and his wife, Sandy, (pictured), the meetings present an opportunity to get help in solving problems, obtain suggestions for proceeding with your research and writing, and to keep informed regarding sources of genealogical research, genealogical organizations, conferences and meetings, TV shows, and information. As an example, previous topics have included "Recent Developments in Genealogy Research", "Publishing Your Genealogical Data", "Genealogy/Family History 101". This is for beginners and those intermediate genealogists who just want to brush up on their techniques. So, invite your friends, relatives and acquaintances who may have expressed an interest in what you are doing to learn about genealogy. There is no fee for this course. The Senior Activity Center is grateful for all the time, expertise, and interest that Sandy and Al give to leading this group at the Center. Please call the Senior Center at 889-6155 for further information. |
