EMMA GOODRICH HART, eldest daughter of Dr. Erastus Langdon Hart, of Elmira, N. Y., and his first wife, Mary (Parmelee), born July 12th, 1811, at Wolcott, Conn.; married September 21st, 1842, at Elmira, Chemung County, N. Y., Hon. Samuel Partridge, born November 29th, 1795, at Norwich, Windsor County, Vt. He is a merchant, and was a member of Congress in 1840. They have no children.

JULIA CLARK HART, second daughter of Dr. Erastus Langdon Hart, and his first wife, Mary (Parmelee), born July 6th, 1813, at Goshen, Conn.; married September 8th, 1836, at Elmira, Chemung County, N. Y., Ariel Standish Thurston, who was born June 11th, 1810, at Goffstown, N. H. He is a lawyer in Elmira. She died at Elmira, April 17th, 1844, aged 31. Their children are—1, Theodore, born April 9th, 1838, died August 14th, 1839; 2, Mary Parmelee, born July 20th, 1840, married November 19th, 1862, Curtiss C. Gardner, of Elmira; 3, Clara Standish, born November 3d, 1842, married October 9th, 1867, Henry White Strang, of Elmira.

WILLIAM ELIZUR HART, Elmira, Chemung County, N. Y., eldest son of Dr. Erastus Langdon Hart, of Goshen, Conn., and subsequently of Elmira, N, Y., and his first wife, Mary (Parmelee), of Goshen, Conn., born September 2 6th, 1817, at Goshen, Conn.; married September 3d, 1844, at Angelica, Allegany County, N. Y., Elizabeth Morse Hull, born November 1st, 1823. She died July 20th, 1855, aged 32 years, when he second married at Earlville, N. Y., November 25th, 1856, Delia A. Case, born December 28th, 1827, at Smyrna, Chenango County, N. Y. He is a merchant.
