1633. Newell Edward, born November 10th, 1850; married September 14th, 1870, Jane B. Bingham; [ died July 25, 1881 ].

[ According to Richard Durbin, a descendant of Newell Edward Hart, Linas Omri Hart died in 1876. Newell Hart and Jane Bingham had the following children:

  1. Rose Hart (November 17, 1871 to February 24, 1961) wife of Edwin Kastenhuber (1859 to February 21, 1945). Rose is buried in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
  2. Charles Hart (May 1, 1874 to June 18, 1916) husband of Mary Wornecke (September 26, 1875 to April 29, 1902). They are buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Avon, Connecticut in the same plot as Newell and Jane.
  3. Emma (July 21, 1878 to May 29, 1959) wife of Benjamin Andrews (November 26, 1876 to November 24, 1970). They are buried in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield, Massachusetts.
  4. Carrie Louise, (February 12, 1881 to July 18, 1964). She married Charles Durbin around 1900. They are buried in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Florence, Massachusetts.

EPHRAIM AVA HART, New Britain, third son of Zina Hart, of Avon, and his wife, Rhoda (Griswold), born February 12th, 1825, at Avon; married October 2d, 1853, Sarah Elizabeth, daughter of Silas Spencer; and his wife, Mary (Root), of New Britain, born January 20th, 1837. He was a farmer, and lived in New Britain, on the Farmington road over the mountain, and near the former home of his grandmother, Rhoda. His fingers were cramped and disfigured by rheumatism. After a few years he returned to Avon, where he died May 11th, 1868, aged 43 years, when second she married George Goodnow, of New Britain.
