pany C, Second Regiment Ohio Cavalry, where he served two years and three months. He was captured June 29th, 1864, at Ream’s Station, Va., and was taken to Andersonville, where he died of starvation. February 1st, 1865, aged 32 years.

IRA HART, Esq., Lordstown, Trumbull County, Ohio, eldest son of Levi Hart, of Brookfield, Ohio, and his wife, Obedience (Fuller), daughter of Jesse, of Burlington, Conn., and his wife, Obedience, born               1817; married              , 1857, Matilda Pierce, daughter of Benjamin, of Lordstown, where he resided in 1871. He was a teacher until 1860, when he was admitted to the bar.

BLISS HART, Brookfield, Trumbull County, Ohio, second son of Levi Hart, of the same place, and his wife, Obedience (Fuller), born               1823, at Brookfleld. He was well educated, was of a fine mind and good address, and chose the law for a profession. He went west, and died at Waupan, Fond du Lac County, Wis., 1847, aged 24.

FRANCES MARIA HART, Montville, Geauga County, Ohio, third daughter of Levi Hart, of Brookfield, Trumbull County, Ohio, and his wife, Obedience (Fuller), born               , 1825, at Brookfleld, Ohio; married April 30th, 1848, Lucius Andrews Baldwin, M. D., who was a resident physician of Montville in 1871. Dr. Baldwin is a son of Julius Baldwin, a farmer of Montville, and his wife, Lucy Ann, eldest daughter of Daniel Andrews,* of Burlington, Conn., and his wife, Polly (Hotchkiss). They had—1, Horace N., born February 21st, 1852; 2, Frank H., born June 3d, 1857; 3, Clayton L., born September 1st, 1867.
