He was veteran soldier in the Union Army through the 1ate war. He died of lung fever, May 7th, 1874, aged 56 years, 4 months, and 5 days. HIS CHILD BY HIS FIRST WIFE, BEING THE NINTH GENERATION.

LEWIS HART, Unionville, Conn., fourth son of Zenas Hart, of Farmington, and his wife, Rachel (Lewis), born May 20th, 1821, at Farmington; married April 10th, 1840, Julia Ann Root, daughter of Amzi, of New Britain, and his wife, Sally (Hart), daughter of Bethel Hart, born July 13th, 1819, He is a blacksmith by trade, which he learned of his brother, Chauncey. He is a mechanic in the saw factory, and lives at Unionville.
