ANDREW EDWIN HART, eldest son of Philip Hart, of New Britain, and his wife, Maria (Judd), born February 2d, 1834, at New Britain; married July 1st, 1857, Ann Weitha Clark, daughter of Melville, of New Britain, and his wife, Welthy Ann (Pilgrim), of Hartford, born January 11th, 1837, at New Britain. He was a soldier in the Twentieth Regiment Connecticut Volunteers, about nine months, and is now a mechanic, and lives on Glen Street, New Britain, in 1874.

THOMAS HART, New Britain, second son of Philip Hart, of the same place, and his wife, Maria (Judd), born October 16th, 1838, at New Britain. He enlisted in Company F, Fourteenth Regiment Connecticut volunteers, and was promoted to corporal. He was mustered into service July 22d, 1862, was killed at Fredericksburg, Va., December 13th, 1862, aged 24 years, and was brought home and buried in New Britain.

HENRY WILLIAM HART, New Britain, Conn., eldest son of Deacon William Hart, of New Britain, and his first wife, Rhoda (Judd), born February 10th, 1832, at New Britain, and is a machinist; married October 14th, 1862, Elizabeth Black, of Bridgeport, Conn., daughter of Alexander, and his wife, Mary, born March 4th, 1838, at Bridgeport, Conn. He enlisted in the Light Battery, in the last war, August 5th, 1862, and was discharged August 10th, 1865. He was in the three days battle at Gettysburg, and many other engagements.

FRANCIS HART, New Britain, second son of Deacon William Hart, of the Baptist Church of New Britain, and his first wife, Rhoda (Judd), born May 25th, 1834, at New Britain; married May 4th, 1867, Widow Harriet Sophia Slater, daughter of Myron Andrews, of New Britain, and his wife, Lois (Barnes), of Burlington, born April 23d, 1841. She first married March 21st, 1861, Joseph Benjamin Slater, son of Captain Elam, born May 25th, 1840, and died December 10th, 1865, aged 24 years, when she second married Francis Hart as above. Mr. Hart is a mechanic, and is a large, stout built man.
