MARIA HART, fourth daughter of Stephen Hart, Jr., the butcher, of New Britain, and his wife, Cynthia (Steele), born March 11th, 1827, at New Britain; married October 1st, 1848, Allen Stacy, of Springfield, Bradford County, Penn., a farmer there, but for a time a mechanic in New Britain, where he married. He died about 1853, in Springfield, Penn. His widow is living there, on the farm, in 1874.

ANTOINETTE HART, eldest daughter of Edmund Hart, of New Britain, and his wife, Mehitabel (Dewey), born April 11th, 1825, at New Britain; married May 24th, 1846, Andrew Rapelye, a cabinet maker of the same place. He was born at New Britain, August 23d, 1824, and was the son of Andrew Rapelye, Sr., of Newtown, L. I., and his wife, Selina Hart (Churchill). His residence is on Chestnut Street. They had—1, Charles Andrew, born March 2 1st, 1849; 2, William Hart, born March 9th, 1851; 3, George, born October 2d, 1854; 4, Frederic Dewey, born May 6th, 1858; 5, Addie, born October 20th, 1860, died May 25th, 1861; 6, Nellie Antoinette, born November 28th, 1864.
