THOMAS HART, Burlington, fifth son of Ambrose Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Mercy (Bartholomew), born, November, 1795, at Burlington; married Amanda Barnes, and removed to Medina County, Ohio. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE EIGHTH GENERATION.
Sarah, born ; died ADNA HART, Bristol, sixth son of Ambrose Hart, of Burlington, Conn., and his wife, Mercy (Bartholomew), born at Burlington in 1797; married February 23d, 1821, Roxana Yale. He died November 21st, 1846, aged 49 years. His widow died September 15th, 1850, aged 50 years. Tombstones have been erected to their memory at the North Cemetery, Bristol. 1267. William, born May 15th, 1822; married November 29th, 1849, Emeline Electa Thayer. ORENUS HART, Brookfield, Trumbull County, Ohio, second son of Bliss Hart, of Burlington, Conn., and his wife, Sylvia (Upson), born July 22d, 1785, in Burlington, Conn.; married September 21st, 1810, Sabra Lewis, of Hartford. They removed to Ohio, September, 1822, where they lived together nearly sixty years. He died at Brookfield, February 24th, 1871, aged 86 years. He was a man of fine intellect, and was a teacher and scholar. His widow was living in 1871 with Robert S., her only surviving son. [ David C. Watkins and W. Lorraine Watkins, editors of *Watkins Family, Collected Letters* (in preparation), have allowed me to include a letter from Oremus Hart to Stephen D.
