1245. Jane Carter, born June 23d, 1842; married February 7th, 1865, Eugene P. Marks. They are at Ansonia in 1874.

EUNICE HART, Southington, youngest daughter of Timothy Hart, of the same town, and his second wife, Sarah (Reed), of Simsbury, born October 24th, 1817, at Southington; married June 22d, 1840, Daniel Hemingway Holt, of Harwinton, Conn., son of Daniel, and his wife, Nabby (Bull), born June 17th, 1819, in Harwinton. They live on the old place of her father’s, on Flanders Street, where he died, October 5th, 1865, aged 46. She lives there still in 1874. She has been in feeble health, but has now recovered. They had children, viz: Daniel Hemingway, John Hart, William Edgar, and Henry Clay.

MURRAY HART, Southington, eldest son of Levi Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Philathea (Allen), born 1784, at Southington; married August 10th, 1808, Lucy Newell, daughter of Charles, and his wife,              (Hazzard), born January 9th, 1785, at Southington. He died at Washington County, Ga., September 28d, 1812, aged 28 years.

965.                       Southington, Conn.

LEVI HART, Southington, second son of Levi Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Philathea (Allen), born 1786, at Southington. He married November 9th, 1809, Polly Newell, daughter of Isaac, and his wife, Mary (Warren), born November 21st, 1788, at Southington. She was admitted to the Congregational Church there, August 28th, 1808. He resided in the village opposite the churches, where he kept a tavern, and was extensively engaged in trade. Since his death his store has been used for a saloon. He was a tinman by trade, and carried on that business at the south for a time. He died December 3d, 1828, aged 42 years. His widow died at the same place, October 14th, 1868, aged 80 years.
