1159. Amos Bushnell, born May 10th, 1832; married November 4th, 1860, Almira Gaylord. HENRY HART, Bristol, Conn., an illegitimate son of Amanda Hart, daughter of Seth, born September 8th, 1830, at Bristol. He was a renegade. He stole small pox clothing from a clothes-line, and so the family of Ard Hart (who married his mother) caught it, and Ard and their daughter, Chloe, died of it. He finally ended his career in the state prison at Wethersfield, where he died, March 15th, 1860, aged 29, and was buried in the North Cemetery at Bristol. Sheffield, Egremont, Mass., Bristol, Conn.
JAIRUS HART, Bristol, Conn., third son of Lemuel Hart, of Southington, and his second wife, Lydia (Heffards), born August 2d, 1804, probably at Hillsdale, N. Y., where his father taught school; married in 1825 Hannah, daughter of John Jones, of Mount Washington, and his wife, Elizabeth (Kline), born about 1809. She died March 30th, I839, when second he married in 1844, Elizabeth Sheffel, of Sheffield, Mass., who is an invalid, being nearly helpless. They have lived in Sheffield, Egremont, and Mount Washington, and were living in Bristol in 1871. THEIR CHILDREN, BEING THE EIGHTH GENERATION.
