MARY HART, Canada, eldest daughter of Lemuel Hart, of Southington, Conn., and his wife, Rosanna (Winstone), born          .          , married          , John Miller, of Canada, and went there to live, and from there to Stockton, Chatauqua County, N. Y., where, probably, both died. They had children, viz: Rosanna, married Martin Winchell; she is now dead; (see the Winchell Genealogy;) William Henry, Sally, Clarissa, and Mary.

ORRA HART, Egremont, Mass., second daughter of Lemuel Hart, of Southington, Conn., and his first wife, Rosanna (Winstone), born          ; married John Field, of Egremont, Berkshire County, Mass., where they located, and became members of the Methodist Church. They both died before 1872. Thoy had children, viz: Loretta, who resides at Princeton, Ill., and is a Methodist; Mary, who is also a Methodist; Milo, Gilbert, Harry, who is a Presbyterian deacon at Princeton, Ill., and Joel, who lives in Sheffield, Mass.

JOEL HART, Egremont, Mass., eldest son of Lemuel Hart, of Southington, and his first wife, Rosanna (Winstone), born January 2d, 1788; married February 2d, 1809, Sally Winchell, daughter of Amos, of Egremont, and his wife, Anna (Adams), born November 10th, 1779, at Egremont. They located at Nelson, Portage County, Ohio, where she died, April 1st, 1846, aged 66 years. He was a stone mason by trade and occupation, and both were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He died at Freeport, Stephenson County, Ill., October 1st, 1870, aged 82 years.
