ELISHA HART, Farmington and New Britain, eldest son of Elisha Hart, and his wife, Sarah (Cole), of Farmington, born at Farmington in 1757; married         , Hannah         . She was admitted to the church in New Britain, February 5th, 1791. They lived in a house that he bought of Ezekiel Wright, near Bass River, on the road from New Britain to Farmington, and near the line. He sold his place to Asahel Hart, and soon after, in 1791, removed to Whitestown, where he died during the war of 1812.

I received the following information from descendants of (842) Truman Hart. Truman had 12 children. Some of his children moved to Mason Co., WV and others to Wayne Co., IA.
