baptized September 27th, 1710, at Farmington; married February 2d, 1737-8, Elizabeth Woodruff, daughter of Matthew, and his wife, Elizabeth (Baldwin), born May 10th, 1713, at Farmington. They resided in Northington, now Avon, east of the river, and she was a constituent member of the church there.

ELISHA HART, Farmington, second son of Timothy Hart, of Farmington, and his wife, Elizabeth (Cowles), born April 28th, 1731, at Farmington, Conn.; married July 14th, 1753, Sarah Cole. He died insolvent, February 29th, 1768, in his 37th year. His widow second married Sylvanus Woodruff.

The Will of Elisha Hart, of Farmington, was dated February 24th, 1768, by which he gave his children, viz., Elisha, Martin, Timothy, Reuben, and Elizabeth. His inventory, £310, dated April, 1768.

He was brother of Rev. Asahel Newell, pastor of the church in Goshen, Conn.
