ELIZA JANE HART, second daughter of Deacon Selah Hart, of Candor, Tioga County, N. Y ., and his wife, Julia (Potter), born             , 1836, at Candor; married             , J. McCarty.

EDMUND MATTHEW HART, oldest son of Matthew Hart, of Canisteo, Steuben County, N. Y., and his wife, Mahala (Jones), born June 13th, 1846, at De Ruyter, Madison County, N. Y.; married at Canisteo, September 2d, 1872, Anna Merrill. He is a painter by trade, and was residing at Canisteo, N. Y., 1873.

ELMA ELIZABETH HART, eldest, daughter of Matthew Hart, of Truxton, Cortland County, and Canisteo, Steuben County, N. Y., and his wife, Mahala (Jones), born June 23d, 1848, at De Ruyter, Madison County, N. Y. She went with her parents to Canisteo, where she married, November 18th, George B. Sherman, who was a wagon maker by trade.

HARRIET LEWIS HART, only daughter of Walter Steele Hart, of Parishville, N. Y., and his wife, Lucy D. (Allen), born February 5th, 1843, at Parishville, St. Lawrence County, N. Y.; married August 1st, 1863, at Ogdensburgh, in the same county, Albert E. Flanders. They are residing at Parishville in 1874, where their children wore born, viz: 1, Frederic W., born August 26th, 1866; 2, Laura Olive, born July 3d, 1869.
