PoIIy Jackson. CANDACE HART, eldest daughter of Job Hart, of Kensington, Ct., and his wife Eunice (Beckley), born 1758, at Kensington, and baptized there by Rev. Samuel Clark, pastor of that church, Feb. 8th, 1758. She married, , Roswell Barnes, and removed to Oneida Co., New York. JOB HART, of Victor, N. Y., second son of Job Hart, of Kensington, and his wife Eunice (Beckley), was born 1759, at Kensington, and baptized there March 11th, 1759. He went with his parents to Stockbridge, Mass. He married, 1784, widow Rachel Ball, whose malden name was Tyrrel, and died 1814. In 1819, with his son Ira, he removed to Providence, Luzerne Co., Penn., and in 1821, to Victor, Ontario Co., N. Y. He was more than fifty years a member of a Congregational church. While in Berlin, Conn., he enlisted a soldier when only sixteen, was captured by the Indians and carried to the British camp, where he suffered much, escaped from Burgoyne's camp the day before his surrender, and joined his family at Stockbridge. Abigail Stone. WILLIAMSON. EUNICE HART, second daughter of Job Hart, of Kensington, Conn., and his wife Eunice (Beckley), was born, 1763, at Kensington, and baptized there Oct. 30th, 1763, by Rev. Samuel Clark, pastor of that church. She went to Stockbridge, Berkshire Co., Mass., with her parents. She married, , Abijah Williamson, and they located at Victor, Ontario Co., N. Y. |
