CAPT. SAMUEL STRYKER HART, Janesville, 13th Wisconsin Regiment, was in service to the close of the war.

JOHN HART, a lieutenant in Col. Samuel Morris' regiment, assisted in taking Louisburg, in 1745.

RALPH HART, Boston, commissioned a lieutenant by Gov. Shirley, in 1742, preparatory to the taking of Louisburg.

EDWIN HART, Riverside, Cal., received a sergeant's warrant in Company I, 6th Regiment Iowa Cavalry.

SERGEANT PETER HART, of New York, nailed the first flag to the mast at Fort Sumpter, after it had been shot away by a shower of bullets by the rebels.

MAJ. WILLIAM HART, Marietta, Ohio, was on duty as an officer, and kept watch over the boats in the Muskingham river, to prevent their joining Aaron Burr's insurrection.

WILLIAM HART was killed in the battle of Corinth, April 6th, 1862.

ISAAC L. HART, Fall River, Mass., was a sergeant in Company C, 1st Massachusetts Regiment, and discharged for disability, March 27th, 1863.

ABNER P. HART, Melrose, Mass., aged 23, was a member of Company G, 44th Massachusetts Regiment.

GEORGE D. HART, Barnstable, Mass., aged 32, was a member of Company D, 55th Massachusetts Regiment.

PHILIP W. HART, Dartmouth, Mass., aged 33, was a member of Company D, 47th Massachusetts Regiment.

CHARLES W. HART, Sheffield, Mass., aged 23, was a member of Company K, 49th Massachusetts Regiment.

JAMES HART, Blackstone, Mass., aged 21, was a member of Company K, 51st Massachusetts Regiment.

SAMUEL C. HART, New Bedford, Mass., was a 1st lieutenant in the 22d Massachusetts Regiment, and was promoted to a captaincy August 20th, 1862.
