STEPHEN HART

AND HIS DESCENDANTS.

This Book is in octavo form, and bound in cloth. It contains 606 pages, and is illustrated by nine Steel Engravings. Simeon Hart, Esq., the originator of it, began to collect materials for its publication in 1842, and prosecuted the work, as his busy life permitted, until his decease, which occurred in 1853. It contains dates of birth, names, biographical sketches, and aneccdotes of several thousand of the Hart family living and dead. The great Progenitor is numerously represented in the British Possessions of North America, and in every State of the American Union ; and it is believed that all the Harts of North America are descendants of Stephen Hart.

The late Alfred Andrews, of New Britain, prepared the book for publication, and controlled its sale, to the time of his decease.

An edition of one thousand copies was printed and bound, a portion of which was sold by him. Some of the volumes have been slightly injured by fire.

Perfect copies, of this intensely interesting publication, will be sent to any order from any of the United States or British Possessions, by mail or otherwise, upon receipt of the price, by Postal Money Order, at $4.00; others slightly injured at $3.00 ; and others at $2.00 per volume.
